There is a significant difference between someone who lays flooring and someone who truly understands it. Our fitting team brings decades of hands-on experience across every flooring type — from intricate herringbone hardwood to wall-to-wall wool carpet, natural coir, and luxury vinyl tile.

Every fitter we work with has been personally vetted. We do not use subcontractors we have not worked with extensively, and we do not send someone to your home unless we are confident in their work. That confidence comes from years of watching them perform on real jobs, in real homes, across London and the surrounding areas.

A significant part of our range is made from natural, renewable fibres: wool, sisal, jute, coir, and seagrass. These materials have been used in homes for centuries for good reason — they are durable, beautiful, and biodegradable at the end of their life.

Our wool carpets come from suppliers who work with farms that follow responsible land management practices. Wool is a natural insulator, helping to retain heat in winter and keep rooms cooler in summer — reducing your home's energy demand over time.

Many synthetic flooring products off-gas volatile organic compounds (VOCs) after installation — chemicals that can affect indoor air quality for months. We prioritise products with low or zero VOC ratings, particularly for bedrooms and children's rooms where air quality matters most.

When you ask us about a product, we can tell you exactly what it is made from and how it performs on environmental benchmarks. We do not hide behind vague marketing language.

The most sustainable floor is one you do not have to replace. A cheap carpet fitted poorly will be in a skip within five years. A quality wool carpet, correctly fitted and properly maintained, can last twenty years or more. We think about longevity as an environmental value — not just a commercial one.
